What we collect

Account data: your name, email address, role (client or provider) and password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider).
Profile data: company details, country, skills, hourly rate, bio, portfolio links and profile photo that you choose to add.
Marketplace activity: jobs, proposals, messages, milestones, time logs, ratings, disputes and qualification test attempts.
Payment data: escrow amounts and payout status. Card details are processed by our payment processor and never touch our servers.
Usage data: basic technical logs (browser, device, pages visited) used to keep the service secure and reliable.

To operate the marketplace: matching clients and providers, running escrow, messaging, reviews and disputes.
To verify skills and quality, including qualification tests and gold-set accuracy checks.
To communicate with you about your account, jobs and platform updates.
To meet legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse. We do not sell your personal data.

We host our database, authentication and file storage with Lovable Cloud (built on Supabase) and process payments through Stripe. These providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
Data may be processed in the United States and the European Union. Where data leaves the EEA/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

We keep your account and marketplace data while your account is active. Job, message and payment records are retained for up to 7 years after a job closes where required for accounting and legal purposes.
You can request deletion of your account at any time; we will delete or anonymise personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep records by law.

If you are in the EEA/UK you have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We use only strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising trackers.
